While Arizona is most renowned for its natural wonders, it also has a number of attractive cities to visit. You're unlikely to get bored in this state, which has everything from Wild West villages to sites where you can experience unexplained cosmic energies and everything in between. It might be difficult to pick what to include on a trip schedule in Arizona because there is so much to see and do, but these are perhaps the greatest cities to visit.

Flagstaff is a lovely mountain town in northern Arizona where you may take in the fresh aroma of pine trees and go climbing, especially to Humphreys Peak, which stands at 12,633 feet. From here, one can view everything from the Grand Canyon's north rim to the White Mountains. The two-million-acre Coconino National Forest has more trekking opportunities, and nearby you can see the world's best-preserved meteorite impact, which measures 4,000 feet in diameter and 570 feet deep. After dark, stop by the Lowell Observatory to view the spectacular star-filled night sky through one of the free expert telescope.

Flagstaff is noted for the kind of raw natural beauty that can only be found in Arizona, with everything from mountains to meteorite craters.

But did you know that the city has a lot more to offer than hiking trails and rock climbing areas?

The entertainment scene in Flagstaff is unbeatable for travelers.

There are stores, pubs, clubs, and restaurants galore, all of which will keep you entertained during your Arizona trip.

Flagstaff has a multitude of museums, planetariums, and observatories for scientists. Because of its commitment to math and science, it has been dubbed "America's First STEM Community."

Flagstaff is one of the earliest settlements in the United States, according to historians.
