Alter Ego

Located inside the Hilton Canopy Hotel this restaurant and bar it is eclectic and adventurous they have an appreciation for the rich history and heritage of Tempe. With their ingredients primarily sourced form local vendors it's easy to pick anything on the menu that will suit your taste. A fan favorite is their pork empanadas! Don't forget to check out the ceiling as it's designed to resemble the river at the Grand Canyon.

Chen's Noodle House

This noodle house is awesome being open from 11am to 11pm everyday! We loved their Lamb Noodle Soup that just melt in your mouth. The food is very authentic and gives you a homestyle meal. You know it's authentic when the menu is written in English and Chinese characters! We also can't get enough of the crab puff or lamb skewers.

The Normal Restaurant and Bar

This place is here to serve from breakfast to night caps it puts a spin on the classics. They have a really nice selection of vegan and gluten-free options. Located inside the Graduate Hotel and if you're staying there you'll get a $5 voucher to use at the restaurant. Don't forget to try their Chilaquiles and as an added plus parking can be validated by texting a phone number that's posted in the parking lot!

Khai Hoàn Restaurant

A mom and pop shop with tons of traditional Vietnamese food. Our favorite in particular is the spicy pork hock noodles (#53 Bun Bo Hue) they are so tasty and flavorful we can't get enough! The space is so welcoming and the staff makes you feel at home. our favorite Vietnamese place by far.

Culinary Dropout

This place has become our go to happy hour meet up with loads of different drinks to try and an almost always busy vibe it has yet to disappoint. And we just can't get enough of those deviled eggs, they are amazing! definitely an added bonus to people who have seen "Waiting" one to many times, the kitchen is open and you can see how all your food is being prepared.
